FlipManga values your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your data within our Telegram Mini App.
Data Collection
We collect the following types of information:
- Telegram user data including your Telegram user ID and display name (provided by Telegram's Mini App SDK)
- Reading activity including chapters read, bookmarks, and reading progress
- App usage metrics to understand how you interact with FlipManga
- Device information including platform and screen size for optimal rendering
Data Storage
Your data is stored in two ways:
- Telegram CloudStorage for reading progress, bookmarks, history, and preferences (synced across your devices)
- Our database for rank progression, coin balance, and streak data
Data Usage
We use the collected data exclusively to:
- Save your reading progress and sync it across devices
- Track your rank progression and coin earnings
- Improve the reading experience based on usage patterns
- Deliver relevant ads that decrease as you rank up
Advertising
FlipManga uses ads to support free access:
- Inline ads (Monetag) appear between manga pages at intervals based on your rank
- Rewarded video ads (Adsgram) are optional and user-initiated (max 3 per day)
- Ad frequency decreases as you progress through rank tiers
- We do not use targeted advertising based on personal data
Data Sharing Policy
We do not sell your data to third parties. We may share data only:
- With ad partners (Monetag, Adsgram) in anonymized form
- When legally required by court order or regulatory authorities
User Rights
You have full control over your data:
- View your stats through the Profile page in the app
- Delete all data using the data wipe option in Settings
- Stop using the service at any time by simply closing the Mini App
